Luxury Hand-Blown Art Glass Bowl – Egermann / Exbor – Nový Bor – 24 cm / 3 kg
This impressive art glass piece represents the tradition of Czech studio glass from Nový Bor, one of the most famous glassmaking regions in the world.
The sculptural form resembles a blooming flower, created from thick hand-blown crystal glass with elegant flowing curves. The glass has a smoky amber tone that transitions into clear crystal, producing a beautiful optical effect when illuminated.
With a weight of approximately 3 kg, the piece feels massive and luxurious and works perfectly as a decorative centerpiece or collector’s glass object.

Egermann / Exbor – Czech glass tradition
The roots of this style go back to Friedrich Egermann (1777–1864), one of the most important figures in Bohemian glassmaking. Egermann became famous for developing new coloring techniques and decorative methods that made Nový Bor glass internationally renowned.
In the 1960s–1980s, the famous Exbor studio in Nový Bor continued this tradition and produced expressive sculptural glass inspired by Czech glass designers such as Josef Hospodka. These works are today highly appreciated by collectors of vintage Czech art glass.
