花瓶 - 青銅色, 一件力量感十足的多叶形轮廓棕褐色青铜花瓶,饰有 Ryu Dragon 龍 - Signed Koyosai Shobei chu - 日本 - 明治时期(19世纪晚期)

A bronze vase with a brown patina, bulb-shaped, with a body composed of rounded and lobed bands. The main motif of the vase is a ryū (龍) dragon in bronze, fully coiled around the body. The dragon, a symbol of power and wisdom, wraps around and embraces the entire structure, creating a sense of movement and dynamism. Its front claw holds the sacred Buddhist jewel (tama 玉), represented by a small crystal sphere. Signed Koyosai Shobei chu (made by Koyosai Shobei, an artist active during the Meiji period) in relief under the base. Weight: 3.440 kg. With the Haitōrei Edict of 1876, which forbade the samurai from wearing swords, the metal masters of the Edo period transformed their craft. They turned to creating decorative art bronzes, refining alloys and patinas of extraordinary beauty. The vase is in very good condition. Please refer to the pictures for further details. ---The item will be carefully packed and shipped via DHL express or FedEx. The original certificate of authenticity issued by our gallery will be provided to the buyer. 894
