Republic Larimar is a rare blue variety of the mineral pectolite, found exclusively in the Dominican Republic. While pectolite itself can occur in many parts of the world, Larimar is unique for its blue to greenish-blue colours and distinctive marbled patterns that evoke the Caribbean Sea.
