賣家描述
1. Pallasite - Main Group (NWA 17921) - 2.95 grams
The sample is dominated by rounded to subrounded olivine crystals, surrounded and permeated by a network of metal completely altered to FeOH. Sulfide are also observed.
2. Diogenite - Noritic (NWA 17627) - 8.49 grams
Achondritic breccia composed of up to 5 mm sized orthopyroxene and up to 500 µm sized plagiolase crystals (about 15 vol%) in related fine-grained clastic matrix. Most low-Ca pyroxenes contain fine lamellar and blebby augite exsolutions. Minor phases include chromite, trolite, and Ni-free metallic iron. Contains shock melt veins and pockets.
3 & 4. L3-6 Regolith Breccia (NWA 869) - 5.75 grams + 4.56 grams
This chondritic breccia consists of about 75 vol% matrix with unequilibrated and equilibrated L-chondrite clasts (up to 5.5 cm), some of which display shock-darkening. Impact melt-rock clasts, themselves either clast-free or clast-poor, also occur and are strongly depleted in Fe,Ni metal and sulfide. Because NWA 869 contains unequilibrated clasts, its classification is revised to L3-6.
All meteorites shown in the pictures are the actual ones you will receive together with the display stand shown in the first picture. I am a member of the Meteoritical Society (#7743) and have been collecting meteorites for over 15 years.
