Desk lamp made of brass with steel pole, base with a heavy iron weight. The lamp is adjustable in all inclinations with use of the ball joint where the neck joins the main brass carrier assembly. This assembly , when pushed down the rod automatically grips at the position desired, then unlocks with a slight push when the lamp needs to be raised. A miracle of early century engineering! The base is brass with a weight stamped with a makers symbol. The fitting is B22 bayonet. The tulip is engraved Degué and is in very good condition, no damage to report. Sort of flesh colour with yellow, brown and blue. The cloth wire is new, and the original plug and switch have been retained.
