Cardboard folder stamped "This Way Brouwn" on front page. 35 x 25.2 cm (closed). The folder contains: two loose sheets with original works measuring 24.3 x 31.8 cm and 9 x 11 cm, each stamped 'This Way Brouwn'. The sheets feature drawn directions by passers-by. One sheet is signed Brouwn 64. Portfolio edition with slight toning around the edges. A unique item and one-off edition. Stanley Brouwn’s famous series ‘This Way Brouwn’ consists of sketches made by passer-bys whom Brouwn asked for directions in Amsterdam. The artist then appropriated them by stamping them with the title of the series.
