花瓶 - 石器 - 日本 - 灰釉瓶 - Shugo Takauchi(高内秀剛)(1930–)
A Japanese stoneware bottle (tokkuri form) by Shugo Takauchi(高内秀剛)(1930–).
The piece features a natural ash glaze with flowing textures and organic surface variation created during firing. The contrast between the warm brown body and the pale ash deposits gives the work a strong sense of depth and natural movement.
With its compact and well-balanced form, it works equally well as a sculptural vase or a traditional sake vessel. Comes with the original signed wooden box (tomobako).
