Elegant wooden drop-front bureau made during the 20th century, inspired by late 18th–19th century classical models, with stylistic references to Louis XVI / early Empire design, evident in its balanced proportions and clean lines.

The piece features a compact and harmonious structure, standing on a shaped base. The front is composed of three spacious drawers with moulded panels and metal knobs. The upper section includes the traditional drop-front panel, which opens to form a writing surface.

The interior is fitted with three small drawers and a writing compartment, ideal for correspondence, small objects or documents. Particularly notable is the warm red interior finish, a refined decorative detail typical of traditional furniture.

Originally intended for domestic or study use, this piece works perfectly as a compact writing desk, entrance furniture, or decorative element in both classic and contemporary interiors.
