Pale white nephrite jade pendant bamboo, with cord -China–21th Century On offer is a good carved white nephrite jade rectangular pendant, with on one side a depiction of a bamboo branch. At the other side a Chinese 4 character seal mark. The pendant is semi-translucent and has a white appearance. It is made in the Chinese taste, with a top-edge finished in Archaic style. This pendant comes with a nice cord for hanging. Has been identified as nephrite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Provenance: This jade comes from inland China. A mediocre good jade which might be suitable as an addition to your high-end collection or to present as a gift! Please see test results and pictures.
