Una delle foto mostra invece chiaramente la stampigliatura 1939 sull'attacco metallico del sottogola.Colore originale "khaki brown" o verde oliva scuro tipico dell'epoca.L'imbottitura è in materiale sintetico cerato (rexine) con la classica crociera in gomma nera al centro in discrete condizioni risulta essere stata replicata negli anni 60/70. Le due differenti date stampate nel guscio significa che il guscio è stato prodotto nel 1940 usando scorte di componenti (gli attacchi metallici) prodotte l'anno precedente 1939. British MkII "Brodie" Helmet ​This is a classic Brodie Helmet Mark II (MkII), the standard-issue model used by British and Commonwealth forces during World War II. ​Manufacturer: Produced by Harrison Bros & Howson Ltd in Sheffield, England, in 1940. ​Details: One of the photos clearly shows a 1939 stamp on the metal chin strap lug. The helmet features its original "khaki brown" or dark olive green period finish. ​Liner: The interior features a black Rexine (waxed synthetic fabric) liner with the iconic rubber crown cross in fair condition. The inner liner was replaced in the 60s-70s. ​Note: The two different dates indicate that the shell was manufactured in 1940 using component stockpiles (the metal lugs) produced the previous year (1939).
