Sensacional y único cartonnier francés realizado en el siglo XIX.
Presenta alta calidad en los materiales: caoba, palma caoba y cuero.

El mueble se eleva sobre una base de madera de caoba y la parte superior remata con un escritorio o bureau. Esta puerta abatible presenta en el exterior la piel gofrada color camel, repujada con oro.
En el interior, espacio para guardar documentos o instrumentos de escritura, con cerradura. Debajo de este cajón aparece otro registro, ambos realizados en palma de caoba.
En el cuerpo principal aparecen seis llamativos cajones de piel color camel con tiradores delicados y sencillos. Cada cajón tiene una solapa frontal que se abre de manera abatible, están realizados en cartón, en la cara frontal presentan también cuero gofrado. Estos cajones se pueden bloquear mediante el ingenioso lateral desplegable de la parte derecha.
La parte superior del escritorio alberga un compartimento oculto al que se accede tirando de un pequeño pomo. Cuando se extrae, se pueden observar pequeños espacios para los tinteros, se conserva uno de ellos. Perfecto como archivador, pieza muy difícil de conseguir en el mercado del arte. En buen estado para su antigüedad y uso.

Sensational and unique French cartonnier made in the 19th century. It presents high quality materials: mahogany, mahogany palm and leather. The furniture rises on a mahogany wood base and the upper part ends with a desk or bureau. This folding door features camel-colored embossed leather on the outside, embossed with gold. Inside, space to store documents or writing instruments, with lock. Below this drawer appears another register, both made of mahogany palm. In the main body there are six striking camel-colored leather drawers with delicate and simple handles. Each drawer has a front flap that opens foldingly, they are made of cardboard, on the front side they also have embossed leather.
