Antique German 800 silver teapot marked “800 Vettiner” on the underside. The teapot features an ornate Victorian/Rococo style with a fluted body, decorative scroll handle, detailed spout, and four feet. Solid 800 silver with a weight of 438 grams. Hinged lid with decorative finial; hinge and lid function properly. Value of silver: 80% of 438 grams = 350.40 grams Silver price on 1 April: 350.40 x 2.417 = 847$ Great antique condition with minimal surface wear consistent with age and use.
