From: Berserk (1997 Series) This is an authentic, original, one-of-a-kind Japanese production cel and drawing, hand-painted and drawn by studio artists and used in the creation of the Berserk (1997) anime series. As an original production material, this artwork is entirely unique, with no duplicates in existence. Created for internal studio use during the original production period, this cel is a genuine artifact from the animation process of this iconic and highly influential series. The cel features Guts in a high-stakes battle moment, just after taking a hit. The intensity of the scene and the character’s dynamic pose highlight the raw energy and emotional weight that define Berserk. The composition is further enhanced by the inclusion of the original genga drawing, offering insight into the animation process from sketch to final painted cel. The background is a copy. The piece comes with a custom-made frame and mat featuring two openings, allowing both the cel and the genga to be displayed simultaneously. A Certificate of Authenticity will be included with your purchase. This item is presented interleaved with MicroChamber paper placed, an archival material used to protect artwork by reducing harmful acids and paint fumes which damage the cel over time.
