A Japanese four-panel folding screen, printed on paper, depicting the Usuzumizakura, the famous and majestic cherry tree of Gifu Prefecture. This classic subject of Japanese art celebrates the fleeting beauty of nature, with delicate sakura blossoms evoking the arrival of spring and inviting reflection on the transience of life. The frame, in lacquered wood, is finished with metal fittings. Signed lower left Itô Kakô.
