Cross of the Order of Knight Leopold II of Belgium:
Created in August 1900 by King Leopold II, this Order, initially with three classes, was quickly revised to include six: Grand Cross, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer, Knight, and Medalist (gold, silver, or bronze).
In connection with the First World War, like the Orders of Leopold and the Crown, the Order received certain special insignia or ribbons:

The Civic Decoration (Dutch: Burgerlijke Ereteken) is a Belgian civilian decoration. It was established on July 21, 1867, to reward both service to the country after a long and distinguished career in public administration, whether at the local, provincial, or national level, and exceptional acts of courage, bravery, devotion, and humanity. A separate version of the decoration exists for firefighters.
On May 18, 1915, the Civic Decoration 1914-1915 (and later 1918) was also created to reward civilians and non-combatants who served their country with distinction during the First World War. A similar decoration was also created for the Second World War on July 21, 1944.
The Civic Decoration is the only one awarded by royal decree, a practice in place since 1993. Despite the federalization of Belgium, the regions and communities continue to award it to their civil servants.
