These pieces originate from the historic glass-making region of Jablonec, Bohemia (formerly Czechoslovakia), the world's premier center for luxury glass buttons during the Late 19th to Mid 20th century. This collection spans the 1890s to the 1920s and features rare examples of technical mastery and period design. The collection includes: -Full set of 12 exquisite "Reverse Painted" buttons: Stunning clear glass buttons with a vibrant orange/red, creating a brilliant "halo" effect when catching the light. The intricate "Sunburst" or "Radial Swirl" pattern was pressed into the glass, and the coloration was applied to the reverse side using a specialized Cold Enamel (Lacquer) technique. The translucent glass acts as a magnifying lens, creating a striking 3D effect.
