A good size cast metal figure of a male Olympian athlete, standing circa 43,5cm tall and weighing 2905g, his right arm held forwards and holding a laurel wreath in a gesture of victory. These types of statues celebrating the classical male physique were popular in Europe in the 1930s around the time leading up to the 1936 Berlin Olympic games.
