A fine Ancient Roman Bronze Ae4 of Helena, mother to Emperor Constantine I the Great. The obverse features the bust of Helena, facing right, wearing the ornamental mantle, with her hair elaborately dressed. The accompanying legend reads FL IVL HELENAE AVG. The reverse displays Pax standing left, holding branch and transverse sceptre, with the legend PAX PVBLICA and the mintmark dot TRP dot in the exergue. This coin was likely minted in AD 337-340.
