His style was inspired by natural shapes, landscapes, and non-Western art, as well as the human body. Moore studied at the Royal College of Art in London and gained international recognition in the 1930s. During World War II, he created powerful drawings of people sheltering in the London Underground, further enhancing his reputation. After the war, his public sculptures were installed worldwide, making his work widely accessible.
