RARE, VINTAGE SCHATZ SEA-QUARTZ SHIP’S BELL CLOCK - WEST GERMANY (NO LONGER IN PRODUCTION) This is a discontinued and highly collectible piece of maritime history. Crafted in West Germany, this original Schatz Sea-Quartz expertly combines the reliability of a quartz movement with the tradition of a mechanical ship's bell strike. Every half hour and hour, its internal hammer strikes the bell to signal the traditional maritime watches. The clock is housed in a heavy, polished brass "porthole" case and comes complete with its original winding key for the bell mechanism and an "on/off" silencer switch on the back. A truly exceptional instrument for any serious collector or nautically-themed space.
