A beautiful and unique, old balofon/ xylophone made in the first half of the 20th century. A very interesting piece with a beautiful sound, completely handmade, with a wooden structure tied together with leather, cotton, and gourds under the hardwood slats. 46 cm long 24.5 X 15 cm Overall good condition with wear consistent with age; one horizontal lower rod seems to be reattached, but it's not noticeable. A beautiful instrument with a lot of character and a wonderful sound.
