派克 - 51 Vacumatic – c.1947 – Late Production – Fully Working - 沒有保留價 - 自來水筆
A fine and authentic Parker 51 Vacumatic fountain pen, dating to the late production period, circa 1947, just before Parker transitioned to the Aerometric system.
This example represents the final stage of development of the Vacumatic filling system — a technology that had, by this point, reached a high level of refinement after years of production. As such, it offers the characteristic Vacumatic writing experience, combining efficiency, responsiveness and a higher ink capacity compared to later systems.
The pen features a black lucite (resin) barrel paired with a brushed stainless steel “Lustraloy” cap, fitted with the classic Parker arrow clip in gold-plated metal. The overall design remains one of the most iconic achievements of 20th-century industrial design.
The Vacumatic filling system is intact and has been tested, the pen fills and writes well.
The barrel imprint “PARKER USA ..T7” is clearly visible and supports a production date around 1947, fully consistent with the pen’s configuration — notably the absence of the Blue Diamond on the clip and its late Vacumatic characteristics.
Condition is very good vintage:
- Light micro-scratches on the barrel consistent with normal use
- Lustraloy cap in particularly well-preserved condition, with a uniform brushed finish
- Gold-plated clip and trim in excellent shape
- Jewel intact and clean
- Nib in good condition, showing honest use
This is a well-balanced late Vacumatic example, offering both collectability and usability — ideal for collectors seeking a refined version of the Vacumatic system, as well as for enthusiasts looking for a reliable daily writer with historical significance.
A classic Parker 51 in its final Vacumatic form, combining technical maturity, iconic design and proven functionality.
