I am selling my Contax II camera. The camera needs repair: although the rangefinder works great, the shutter is stuck. Its special feature is that it belongs to one of the last shipments manufactured in World War II. This Zeiss category, starting with Q (photographed), was born during the war, Dresden was bombed to dust after its delivery. The war economy is also felt on the camera, especially on the lens tube: it is lighter (but still copper), with thinner chrome plating compared to my 1937 copy. The lens image is beautiful, focus and aperture work smoothly.
