The piece is composed in a striking checkerboard arrangement of four panels in contrasting natural beige and deep reddish-pink tones, each decorated with repeating dotted fields. At the center of each panel appears a highly stylized seabird rendered in a geometric idiom. The mirrored composition and rhythmic repetition create a dynamic visual interplay characteristic of Chancay textile aesthetics. The weaving is executed in cotton using a tapestry-like technique, with strong graphic contrast between the background and the motifs.
