[Tea Ceremony Utensils] Sorori Flower Vase by Susumu Nose of Touwaka Kiln
This "Sorori" shaped flower vase is made by Susumu Nose of Touwaka Kiln, drawing on the traditions of Kyoto ware and his many years of training at Eiraku Zengoro (pottery workshop), one of the Ten Craftsmen of the Senke School of Tea Ceremony. The slender, elongated neck and the beautifully curved base add a touch of elegance to the alcove.
■ Features of the Piece

The "Sorori" shape, long cherished, is characterized by its slender and refined silhouette. As a single-flower vase, it elegantly showcases seasonal tea ceremony flowers.
