6 very rare and hard to find KLM canalhouses from the first edition from 1952 from the Rynbende distillerie. The numbers are 1-2-8-9-14-19 with a very rare and hard to find number 9, still in very good condition and closed with brown wax. KLM started issuing these miniature bottles in 1952. Due to unfair competition, airlines were not allowed to give gifts to their customers. So KLM had a few Delft houses made and filled them with gin. Naturally, their competitors complained: "KLM gives gifts to their customers." KLM said: "Are we allowed to decide how we serve our drinks? Is there a law that tells me drinks must be served in a glass?"... and that is how it all began.
