Classic and well-proportioned wooden case with a calm, timeless design. The case is in very good condition, with a nice, even patina and only minor signs of age. The clock is equipped with a mechanical Junghans movement (marked A52), time and strike, with a rod gong and four hammers. The movement has been cleaned and oiled. The clock runs very well and keeps good time. Please note: The striking mechanism is currently not active. The issue is a worn mainspring responsible for the strike, which needs replacement. This is a typical and straightforward service for this type of movement. The dial is original, metal, diameter approx. 17 cm, with clear Arabic numerals and characteristic Junghans hands.
