England, c. 1930 The jam jar is made of finely cut glass, fitted with a sterling silver rim hallmarked with : the lion passant for sterling silver leopard’s head (London assay office) date letter “o” for 1929 maker’s mark “HH & SN” (Harrison Brothers & Howson of Sheffield and London) The toast rack is executed in elegant Art Deco style, featuring clean cylindrical forms and a practical design. Dimensions: jam pot 11 x 8 cm; toast rack 10 x 11 cm. Good condition, without damage other than a few minute frits at the spoon opening.
