包括 Yajiro 风格和 Sakunami 风格的件(共 7 件) - 木 - 日本 - 昭和年代(1926-1989)

This is a set of seven kokeshi dolls in various styles, including Yajiro-style and Sakunami-style pieces. It also includes kokeshi depicting a maiko and Tanabata, making it a very Japanese collection. The largest kokeshi is 35 cm, and the smallest is 29.5 cm. Condition: Due to their age, there are scratches and stains. Please refer to the photos for details regarding the condition. Yajiro-style kokeshi are traditional wooden dolls originating from the Yajiro district of Shiroishi City in Miyagi Prefecture. Their most distinctive feature is the colorful “lathe-turned pattern” on the top of the head, which resembles a beret. They are characterized by vivid colors such as yellow, red, and purple, as well as a narrowed waist and elegant kimono designs. Sakunami kokeshi are a traditional style originating from Sakunami Onsen in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture. They are characterized by a small head and a slender, elongated body, often decorated with a distinctive red chrysanthemum pattern known as “kanigiku.” They were once enjoyed as children’s toys, and today the tradition is preserved by its sole successor, Teruyuki Hiraga, who also creates modern interpretations of the style. ■No accessories are included. ■Items will be packed and shipped by Japan Post.
