青銅器時代 青銅色 先锋 (沒有保留價)
A Bronze Age bronze spearhead, featuring a leaf-shaped blade with upward sloping shoulders. A raised central midrib leads to a short, flat tang, which extends from the bottom of the blade. The tang may have been perforated but the end has been chipped and is now missing. A lovely green patina and earthly encrustations to the surface. Signs of wear as consistent with age such as chips to the edges of the blade, shoulders and tang, some surface pitting, and scratches. The blade is bent, with a resulting stable crack to one side.
In ancient times a number of nomadic populations, such as the Medes and the Kassites, settled in the Western Asiatic area. Due to the nomadic nature of the tribes, none of the bronzes were of great size, since it was required for them to be light and portable. Excavated items often included weapons, tools, and finials, as well as small amulets and fittings. Everyday objects are also found including pins and bracelets. Their artwork mainly comprises ornaments, vessels and weapons. Archaeological evidence suggests that the bronze objects often serve ceremonial functions given their funerary contexts.
