The German-progessive-rockband Grobschnitt can be seen as the 'Godfather' of the Rammstein. The band was founded in 1970, they stopped in 1989.. Most of the members and rodies of Grobschnitt, gave themselves 'strange' names like 'Eroc,' 'Quecksilber' or 'Moff Mollo'. The band could be seen as a very innovate band, with a mix from theater, optical effects and extreem long musical improvisations.
