Professionally Restored Panerai PAM 127 Luminor 1950 “Fiddy” Special Edition This Panerai PAM 127 Luminor 1950 “Fiddy” Special Edition, originally released in a limited series of only 1,500 pieces, has been professionally restored in our workshop with careful attention to preserving the iconic character, proportions, and presence of this historic model. The case has undergone deep refinishing, including polishing, brushing, and restoration work, resulting in a clean and balanced appearance true to the original design language. Please note that the case edges have been slightly rounded in order to remove original damage to the steel. This watch is fitted with a Swiss DB9 Black Edition manual-winding movement. We selected this calibre as a reliable and practical modern solution, and it has proven itself very well in our experience both visually and mechanically. The DB9 is compatible with ETA 6497-1 / 6497-2 architecture as well as Panerai OP-style hand-wound movement formats, which makes future servicing straightforward and familiar for watchmakers experienced with the ETA 6497 family. It operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour and demonstrates an actual power reserve of up to 60 hours in our testing, exceeding the officially declared figure. A special feature of this project is the custom engraved Edelweiss caseback. The idea for this design was born in Switzerland, where Edelweiss is strongly associated with rarity, endurance, alpine character, and local visual culture. For this PAM 127 build, it became the perfect symbol for a distinctive and uncommon custom interpretation. In addition to the caseback, the watch also features a custom CFP-marked crown detail produced by our studio as part of the overall build concept, adding another recognizable signature element to the piece. The set is completed by an original large and heavy Panerai Special Edition box, carefully restored as part of the project. Its front nameplate was refinished and now features a proper engraved appearance, giving the box a more fitting and substantial presentation. To complete the overall concept, the watch is fitted with a customized strap that matches the tone and individuality of the build.
