Elegantissima sedia antica in legno intagliato, caratterizzata da una struttura scultorea di grande impatto estetico. Il design presenta linee curvilinee e dinamiche, con base a X e seduta composta da listelli arcuati.

Lo schienale è finemente decorato con ricchi motivi ornamentali e presenta al centro un medaglione intagliato raffigurante Dante Alighieri, elemento iconografico tipico del gusto neorinascimentale ottocentesco. Questa scelta decorativa richiama i valori di cultura, erudizione e identità storica italiana.

I braccioli terminano con teste zoomorfe finemente scolpite, raffiguranti creature fantastiche ispirate a leoni e figure grottesche rinascimentali. Tali elementi avevano una funzione simbolica apotropaica, ovvero di protezione, oltre a conferire forza espressiva e carattere all’intero arredo.
