A stunning and large Art Nouveau bust sculpture of the French saint, Jeanne d'Arc. A beautiful work by C. Hochöck, a little-known, small master of the era, usually attributed to the Central European school. Works by him are very rare, and they show a high artistic quality. This is a superb example of his Art Nouveau female bust sculptures, in cream and silver polychromy. An elegant and very rare piece, no other example is known.
