1. Altar Crucifix "Memento Mori"
Material: Solid cast brass (verified by the inner shine of the base).
Dimensions: 30 × 10 cm.
Details: Classic representation with Adam’s skull at the base (symbol of Golgotha). Features an natural antique patina that lends it an authentic and solemn character. Finials in fleur-de-lis.
2. Byzantine Style Ashtray (Heavy Piece)
Material: Brass/Bronze chased.
Dimensions: 12 cm in diameter.
Weight: 490 g (very robust and solid piece).
Details: Decorated with complex neobyzantine iconographic reliefs under arches, depicting scenes evoking Eastern Christian tradition. A functional piece turned into a work of art.
3. Russian-Byzantine Icon "La Vid Verdadera"
Support: Wood with lithography and gilded applications.
Authenticity: Includes original certificate on the reverse, blessed by the Russian Church of Jerusalem.
Iconography: Christ as the central axis of the Church, surrounded by the twelve apostles in a tree-like composition of great symbolism.
Condition:
The lot is in very good vintage condition. The metal shows natural wear and the patina typical of the passage of time, which is highly valued by collectors to confirm antiquity. The icon retains the brilliance of gold leaf and the certificate is fully legible.
The ashtray is believed to be European and the icon from Jerusalem.
