賣家描述
Limited edition: 190 bottles of 70 cl
Distilled: 1996
Bottled: 2020
Type: Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Speyside, Scotland
Style: unpeated
Tasting notes: A memory of childhood holidays, all gathered around a fire at dawn at the end of summer. The desire to meet again soon… That is the feeling this whisky leaves after encountering it. A sharp, lingering and complex aroma of freshly burned wood, dried leaves, and countryside scorched by a tiring season. Resin and hay. On the palate, it is indulgent—yeast and honeyed butter flood the senses. A very long, persistent and intriguing finish, complex. A great character with a lasting and graceful taste.
Alcohol: 47.5% ABV
Curiosities: The story of Samaroli goes back 50 years. Born in Bologna, Italy, Silvano Samaroli, the founder of the house, began his activity in 1968 by selecting and bottling some of the finest whiskies in the world. At the beginning, he was the only independent bottler who was not British. In the 1990s, Samaroli added rum to his selection: he traveled in search of the finest distilleries and brought the casks back to Scotland, where the climate allows for slower aging, synonymous with finesse and elegance.
But the work does not stop there, as Samaroli also continues research into blending, combining the flavors of aged spirits with the power of younger ones to recreate the “soul of whisky.” This includes re-casking whiskies or rums into new barrels to give them an incomparable depth compared to classic single malts. It is a unique approach—the one that created the Samaroli legend.
At the same time, exceptional casks continue to be offered as “Single Cask.” Samaroli offers single malt whiskies and single cask rums selected for their outstanding character. But the House of Samaroli does not hesitate to work with casks, blend vintages, production regions, and combine flavors to create legendary blended malts and blended rums.
Each Samaroli bottle indicates the year of casking, the year of bottling, the number of bottles obtained from each cask, and the individual bottle number.
