09. PCGS VF-Details, 1898年湖南省造光緒元寶(戊戌老龍)庫瓶七分二厘
1898年生產的戊戌龍銀，正面雙肩刻花改為干支紀年的戊戌二字，光緒元寶四字變為珠圈圍繞。背面雙肩仍是細長六花星，盤龍周圍的線圈沒有了。龍跟老江南一樣，鹿角、大眼、寬須、尖尾四個特徵沒有改變。內齒由人字形變成矩形內齒，是一枚改版後很漂亮精緻的龍銀設計。請喜歡的藏家不要錯過。
09. PCGS VF-Details, 1898 Hunan Province Guangxu Yuanbao (Old Dragon of the Year of the Dog) Treasury Bottle, 7.2 Fen. This silver coin, minted in 1898, features the characters for "Year of the Dog" (戊戌) on the obverse shoulders, replaced by the sexagenary cycle, while the characters for "Guangxu Yuanbao" (光绪元宝) are now surrounded by a beaded circle. The reverse retains the slender six-pointed star on the shoulders, but the coiled circle around the dragon is gone. Like the old Jiangnan silver coins, the dragon retains its four distinctive features: antlers, large eyes, broad whiskers, and a pointed tail. The inner teeth have changed from a herringbone shape to a rectangular shape, making this a beautifully refined and improved design. Collectors who appreciate this type of silver coin should not miss it.
