An authentic end 18th ct - first half 19th century icon depicting the Mother of God as the "Joy of All Who Sorrow." The central figure is surrounded by angels and the suffering, with Christ Sabaoth above. Features traditional Church Slavonic scrolls and fine detail in the figures. Dimensions: 35 x 29 x 2.5 cm Medium: Egg tempera on wood panel. Good antique condition with authentic craquelure and minor wear consistent with age.
