Very beautiful -Antique brass 'peacock tail' fireplace screen, ca. 1890-1910. A richly decorated, foldable fan-shaped model executed in the flamboyant Neo-Rococo style (Historism). The nine leaves are crafted from refined openwork perforated brass. The base and central holder feature characteristic rocaille and leaf motifs, crowned with a decorative vase finial.
