維京時代 青銅色 戒指,公元9世纪至11世纪——开口环,饰有古代护符纹饰 - 18.5 mm (沒有保留價)

Authentic bronze open ring, attributed to the Viking Age or early medieval northern tradition, dated to the 9th–11th century AD. The ring is made in an open adjustable band form, allowing slight size adaptation. This practical construction gives the piece a direct and personal character. It was made not as a ceremonial object, but as an item intended for real wear. The outer surface is decorated with repeated circular motifs. These symbols create a clear rhythm around the band and give the ring a strong archaic appearance. The decoration may be interpreted as solar, protective, or symbolic ornament, typical of early medieval personal objects where simple signs often carried deeper meaning. The bronze surface shows natural age wear, dark deposits, and green mineral patina. The ring has a strong archaeological presence, with visible traces of time and use. No modern cleaning. No restoration. Original character preserved. Rings in the Viking Age were more than ornaments. They were personal objects connected with identity, memory, status, and protection. This small open bronze ring carries exactly that feeling: simple, ancient, direct, and full of quiet presence. Legend: Not every ring was made for wealth. Some were made for the hand. For daily life. For memory. For a sign carried without words. The small circles on the band repeat like marks of time. One after another. Day after day. Journey after journey. Perhaps they were symbols of protection. Perhaps signs of the sun. Perhaps only the owner knew their meaning. The ring opened to fit the hand. But its meaning closed around the person who wore it. Bronze darkened. Patina grew. The hand disappeared. The ring remained. Details: Culture: Viking Age / Early Medieval Northern tradition Period: 9th–11th century AD Material: Bronze Type: Adjustable open ring Decoration: Repeated circular symbols Inner diameter: approx. 18.5 mm Weight: 1.87 g Condition: Authentic antique condition with natural patina, age wear, and archaeological surface Shipping: European Union only Provenance: Acquired on the European art and antiques market, from a private collection.
