Kawai No. M-40 - vintage acoustic guitar made in Japan probably in the '60s (1960 is an estimate). Check the demo video I recorded playing the guitar: https://youtu.be/mT1a5_FPqwA The guitar is playable and comfortable, with an old-school Blues and Folk sound. The body is smaller than a standard acoustic, and the neck width is shorter. It currently has 0.10 steel strings. The wood used on this guitar definitely looks particular and has a breathtaking pattern. Please check the photos and the videos carefully, they are the best way to understand the guitar's condition & sound. In the photos I was not able to capture all the finish cracks in the body because some aren't very noticeable to the eye, however if you touch them you will feel them. This guitar is probably around 60 years old, so adjust your expectations accordingly. It has scratches, blemishes and imperfections. It will feel different compared to a new instrument. It is playable but it has not been professionally setup, so there may be things that can be done to improve its playability. I'd suggest it to people who have some experience with vintage guitars and are willing to make adjustments down the line, or who can embrace the imperfections in exchange for a special sound and vibe.
