Jasper Morris: "The holding covers 6ha in total, though not all is in this cuvee which is from 90 plus year old vines. Fair depth of colour, a lively purple. Extraordinarily perfumed nose, a soapy edge in its youth but delivering a wealth of rich peony notes. The wine has an incredible succulence stretching out across the palate. Note too the amazing texture with fine grained tannins permeating the succulent fruit. Very long fine finish. And very clean. Tasted May 2019."
