Although inspired by Art Nouveau, this piece dates to the mid-20th century, as confirmed by the “935” silver mark, a standard commonly used in Belgium after circa 1940.

Additional maker’s marks include “HB” in a shield and “KJ” with an arrow motif. These marks could not be conclusively attributed but are consistent with smaller Belgian or continental workshops of the period.
