Beautiful specimen of the trilobite Walliserops Lindoei  characteristic species from the renowned Devonian deposits of the Maider Basin in Morocco. This fossil originates from the Upper Emsian (Lower Devonian) layers of the Tazoulait Formation, a geological unit celebrated among collectors for the exceptional preservation of marine fauna.
The specimen displays the typical morphology of  Walliserops Lindoei with its distinctly ornamented exoskeleton and well-defined segmentation. The cephalon, thorax, and pygidium are clearly visible, offering an excellent representation of the species. The fine surface details and natural relief enhance its aesthetic appeal, making it a striking display piece.
Trilobites are among the earliest complex marine arthropods, appearing over 500 million years ago and thriving for nearly 270 million years before their extinction at the end of the Permian.
