Vintage French firefighter helmet (Modèle 1933), coming from the commune of Sarge-sur-Braye. Polished steel/chrome body with a brass front plate (insignia). Excellent vintage condition. The metal body has a high-polished, mirror-like finish with very minor surface wear. Please note that there is a visible dent on the front of the comb/crest (just above the brass grenade insignia, highlighted in the photos). This is a genuine sign of field use and adds true historical character to the piece. Minor surface scratches consistent with age. The original leather liner ("wolf-tooth" style) and chin strap are fully intact and in great, age-appropriate condition (see photos). 17 x 31 x 23 cm, 950 g.
