17th Century Dutch Delft Blue House Series Tiles with Ox-Head Corners – Set of 6 Set of six Dutch Delft blue and white ceramic tiles produced circa 1660 in the Netherlands. Each tile is hand-painted with stylised rural house and windmill scenes from the well-known “house series”, framed by traditional ox-head corner motifs characteristic of mid-17th century Delft production. Dating from the Dutch Golden Age, these tiles reflect the decorative and architectural imagery widely used in early Delft interiors. The cobalt blue decoration and spontaneous brushwork are representative of 17th-century Dutch tin-glazed earthenware craftsmanship. The tiles remain in good antique condition with age-related superficial wear, edge fritting and minor corner losses consistent with period use and handling.
