Coppia di maschere d'arte africana in legno stile Kpelie del popolo Senufo (Costa d'Avorio),
Prima maschera (a sinistra): Caratterizzata da una cresta superiore geometrica a gradini e una bocca squadrata con denti incisi in rilievo.
Seconda maschera (a destra): Presenta una cresta piatta impreziosita da tre autentiche conchiglie di ciprea. Il volto ha tratti più morbide, con occhi socchiusi.
Segni del tempo che dimostrano l'autenticità el'età.
Entrambe sono intagliate a mano in legno duro e mostrano sul retro i tipici segni dello scavo manuale con l'accetta tradizionale.
Misure : cm 40 x 18 e cm 38 x 20

First mask (left): Characterized by a geometric, stepped upper crest and a square mouth with teeth carved in relief.
Second mask (right): Features a flat crest embellished with three authentic cowrie shells. The face has softer features, with half-closed eyes.
Signs of aging that demonstrate authenticity and age.
Both are hand-carved from hardwood and show the typical signs of manual hollowing with a traditional adze on the back.
Measurements: 40 x 18 cm and 38 x 20 cm.
