The work represents the passage of the work from the outer wall to the interior space of buildings. What is born on the street, in the urban and public context, is transferred inside of buildings, houses or museums, completely changing environment and meaning. In this case, the most interesting street corner is selected and cut, the one on which the street artist had carried out the outdoor intervention. The fragment is then detached from the original street context and transformed into an autonomous object. Once the cut is made, this piece of wall can be transferred and placed inside: in homes, palaces, museums or other buildings. In this way the work changes environment and function, moving from the public and daily space of the street to a private or institutional space, where it is preserved and displayed as a true artistic object. All of this represents a kind of imagined reconstruction by the artist, reflecting on the process of moving the work from the urban context to the domestic or museum one.

The natural imperfections, marks and dents of the materials are not defects, but an integral part of the work: they bear witness to its urban lived-in experience and strengthen the typical identity of true Street Art.

The work is delivered ready to be hung. Upon the client’s request, it is possible to proceed later with framing.
