Vermentino di Gallura DOCG is a white wine with a straw-yellow color with greenish highlights. Its aroma is distinctive, with intense fruity and floral notes that evolve toward vanilla nuances with occasional aging in wood. On the palate, it is fresh, smooth, and dry, sometimes with a slightly bitter and typically almondy aftertaste. This excellent wine is produced from a minimum of 95% Vermentino grapes. Other non-aromatic white grapes native to Sardinia may be used, up to a maximum of 5%. Thanks to the human factor and different winemaking techniques, there are several different styles of Vermentino di Gallura DOCG.
