A cast brass or bronze figure of a four-arm deity or Bodhisattva, possibly Shiva considering the crescent moon symbol on his chest, measuring circa 16,3cm in height and weighing 1301g, wearing a sarong and sitting with ankles crossed on a throne adorned with engraved lotus flowers and vines. Ancient Javanese script to the front of the throne, the reverse with raised implausible date 1673. Condition: Very good, no damages or repairs. Minimal wear.
